Air Europa Eye a Sustainable Future

Air Europa, together with airlines supplier Kaelis have launched a brand new range of exciting Business Class amenity kits. It was calculated that plastic wrapping alone on amenity kits offered onboard Air Europa flights generates 1000 kilos of plastic waste a year, and so they took the initiative to get rid, and look at packaging alternatives.

Alongside creating a plastic-wrap free kit, Air Europa and Kaelis took the opportunity to redesign their Business Class offerings, with new cosmetics, new kit and new contents for their passengers, all with sustainability in mind.

They have created a high quality soft touch, velvet leather material pouch in grey, which is desirable for both male and female passengers. Within the kit there are cosmetics from The Rerum Natura, a company that is dedicated to creating skincare from natural botanicals. The cosmetics offered focus heavily on the importance of rehydration whilst onboard, and include face lotion, hand lotion, a gel that helps rejuvenate a passenger’s arms and legs and a hydrating lip balm. Each of the cosmetics is also contained within sustainable, Doypack bags featuring a recycled plastic closing system.

Alongside the beautiful, natural cosmetics, Air Europa are offering all the travel essentials within their new kits, including socks, dental kit, ear plugs, eye  mask, and shoe bag, all customized for the Air Europa passenger.
