Air Tahiti Nui has introduced a new onboard baby kit, designed to make travelling with little ones even more comfortable. Created for infants from birth to two years old, the thoughtful kit combines practical essentials with a touch of Polynesian charm.
Presented in a tote bag featuring Polynesian-inspired designs, the kit includes a bib, an airplane-shaped spoon, a spare diaper and a colourful cotton gauze swaddling cloth, giving parents a selection of useful items during their journey.
The new baby kit builds on Air Tahiti Nui’s refreshed children’s programme introduced in 2025, continuing the airline’s focus on making family travel more enjoyable.

The collection also introduces Tohorā, the whale, as the airline’s new family mascot. In Polynesian culture, the whale symbolises wisdom and protection. Every year between July and November, humpback whales return to the warm waters of The Islands of Tahiti to give birth, making Tohorā a fitting symbol of family and care.
Families travelling with infants can also request bottled water suitable for babies onboard. Complimentary baby meals for children up to one year old, children’s meals and bassinets are available when reserved before the flight.

Older children aged three to seven receive their own activity kit, complete with a reusable drawstring bag, colouring pencils, an activity book, a card game and a puzzle to keep them entertained throughout the journey.
With these thoughtful additions, Air Tahiti Nui continues to enhance the family travel experience, ensuring its youngest passengers enjoy the same warm Polynesian welcome from the moment they step onboard.
