British Airways has launched a new range of amenities for their customers. This is the next advancement in their investment in their premium economy, World Traveller Plus offerings.

The new kits will be available onboard from July 1, and has a keen eye on sustainable and recycled products. The kits will be made using a material created from recycled plastic bottles, and will contain all the essential items passengers seek for their flight. These will include eyeshade, soft socks, a pen, toothbrush and lip balm from the Scaramouche & Fandango range.

Alongside the amenity kit, further comfort items include a quilt and cushion that features a herringbone design to mimic that of the pattern seen throughout British Airway’s First cabin.

Carolina Martinoli, British Airways’ Director of Brand and Customer Experience, said: “We’re investing £6.5bn for our customers and these improvements to World Traveller Plus mark part of that investment.

“The new menus that we introduced in World Traveller Plus earlier this year have been a huge hit with customers and this second phase including the new washbags, quilts and cushions will really add to the comfort of the cabin.”

Another advancement that customer’s can enjoy is the ability to pre-order their main meal up to 24 hour before departure to ensure that their first choice is available on their flight from London.

This £6.5 billion investment will be taking place over 5 years, launched in 2019 as British Airways’ Centenary year. This investment will see new aircraft, cabins, catering, lounges, extended WiFi capability and new routes introduced.Year
