Etihad Airways is strengthening its summer travel offering with the launch of three new seasonal destinations and the return of five popular leisure routes, reinforcing its ongoing network expansion while introducing a limited-edition onboard gift for passengers travelling on inaugural flights.
The UAE’s national carrier has launched seasonal services to Krakow in Poland, Palma de Mallorca in Spain and Zanzibar in Tanzania, with flights commencing on 11 June, 12 June and 14 June, respectively. The additions are part of Etihad’s broader strategy to meet increasing demand for leisure travel while expanding direct connectivity from Abu Dhabi to some of the season’s most sought-after destinations.
Alongside the new routes, the airline has resumed seasonal flights to Malaga, Mykonos, Santorini and Nice during June, while services to Egypt’s Mediterranean resort destination of Al Alamein will return from 16 July. The seasonal schedule provides travellers with direct access to several of Europe’s most popular holiday destinations, as well as the increasingly popular North African coastal destination.

To mark the launch and return of the eight seasonal routes, Etihad presented passengers on each inaugural flight with a limited-edition Summer Essentials Kit designed to enhance the travel experience from departure to arrival.
The kit, packaged in a waterproof Etihad-branded backpack, includes practical travel accessories and hydration products suited to summer travel. Passengers received a waterproof phone pouch, one-shot electrolytes, Al Ain flavoured sparkling water, a ginger brew drink and water wipes, providing useful essentials for travellers heading directly to beaches, resorts or city breaks.

According to the airline, the initiative reflects its continued focus on enhancing the guest experience through thoughtful onboard touches that combine convenience, wellbeing and practicality. Inspired by the destinations served across its summer network, the collection is intended to help passengers arrive prepared for warm-weather holidays while adding a memorable element to the inaugural journeys.
The expanded seasonal schedule underscores Etihad Airways’ continued investment in growing its international network and strengthening Abu Dhabi’s position as a global aviation hub. With new destinations joining returning favourites across Europe and Africa, the airline is offering travellers greater choice for summer holidays while complementing its network growth with customer-focused initiatives that extend beyond the flight itself.
