For decades, luxury air travel has revolved around the same promises: lie-flat beds, vintage champagne, private lounges, and elevated dining above the clouds. But a new era of premium flying is emerging — one where the greatest luxury is no longer indulgence, but wellbeing.
Enter FlyWell, the new wellness-focused travel programme from Fiji Airways, designed to transform the long-haul journey into something restorative rather than exhausting.
Available to Business Class passengers on select flights between Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Nadi — as well as inside the airline’s Premier Lounge in Fiji — FlyWell introduces a curated series of wellness experiences aimed at helping travellers arrive feeling refreshed, focused, and physically better than when they boarded.

A New Philosophy of Luxury Travel
Long-haul flying places undeniable stress on the body. Dehydration, disrupted sleep cycles, cabin pressure, prolonged sitting, and artificial lighting all contribute to the fatigue many travellers accept as part of the experience.
FlyWell challenges that assumption entirely.
Rather than focusing on recovery after landing, Fiji Airways has designed a programme centred on wellbeing during the journey itself. The result feels less like a traditional airline service and more like a luxury wellness retreat in the sky.

Wellness at Cruising Altitude
The programme brings together five wellness partners, each addressing a specific aspect of long-haul travel.
Cognitive Support & Rest with Magic Mind:- Business Class guests receive two formulations from Magic Mind — one created to encourage focus and alertness, the other designed to support relaxation and sleep inflight. Using adaptogens and nootropics, the products aim to help travellers better manage the physical and mental demands of crossing multiple time zones.
Circadian Support with Ra Optics:- Passengers are also introduced to Ra Optics Sunset Lens glasses, designed to reduce exposure to blue and green light before sleep. By supporting natural melatonin production, the glasses are intended to help regulate circadian rhythms during overnight flights.
Circulation Support with Firefly Recovery:- Extended periods of sitting are one of the least glamorous realities of long-haul travel. Firefly Recovery wearable devices are designed to stimulate circulation in the lower legs, helping reduce stiffness and swelling during the flight.

A Wellness Lounge Experience in Fiji:- Inside the Fiji Airways Premier Lounge in Nadi, the experience continues before boarding. Guests can reserve short sessions with Vital Red Light, a therapy designed to encourage relaxation and recovery prior to departure. Meanwhile, Aires Tech technology has been incorporated throughout the lounge and select crew spaces to create a calmer environment within high-tech travel settings.
FlyWell reflects a broader shift happening across luxury travel. Increasingly, affluent travellers are prioritising energy, sleep quality, mental clarity, and overall wellbeing as highly as comfort and exclusivity.
The future of premium flying may no longer be defined solely by the seat you sit in — but by how you feel when you arrive.
And with FlyWell, Fiji Airways is positioning itself at the forefront of that evolution.
