Galileo develops kits for Brussels Airlines inspired by Magritte

2017 celebrates the 50th anniversary of death of one of Belgium’s most famous and respected artists, René Magritte.  To mark this occasion Galileo Watermark has developed three collectible amenity kits for Brussels Airlines, using some of the surrealist artist’s most famous works.

Tanguy Cartuyvels, VP Marketing at Brussels Airlines said ‘Following on from our Magritte dedicated Belgian Icon aircraft last year, we wish to again honour the artist to mark the anniversary of his passing away. As proud ambassadors for Belgium, it has always been important for us to bring the best of Belgium to the world and we are thrilled to do this once again with our latest amenity kits.’

Kenny Harmel, Head of Aviation at Galileo Watermark told Amenities, “Understanding local heritage is hugely important, we were keen to continue Brussels Airlines’s long standing tradition of partnering with national icons and brands to elevate their on-board offering. With the anniversary falling this year we felt that celebrating some of Magritte’s most iconic pieces would be a fitting tribute and a wonderful keepsake for passengers on-board.”

The beautiful unisex kits are the perfect size for all the travel amenities and include socks, eye mask, earplugs, dental kit and pen. The new kits are available now on Business Class flights serving North America, Africa and India.
