Spaghetti al vino – cooked by Lorenzo Fasola Bologna – Monte Vibiano


The Castle of Monte Vibiano stands on a hill amidst this dreamlike landscape. Just a stone throw from Perugia, the property includes some 500 hectares of land, 200 of which are cultivated. The first awards of excellence for the extra virgin olive oil and the wines happened in 1926 and since then the quality of the homegrown products was paramount for the owning family.

Today the farm is directed by Lorenzo Fasola Bologna. In 1998 he has re-launched the production of the wines in order to produce one of the top wines of Italy, L’Andrea. In order to achieve this ambitious goal he can rely on the consultancy of one of the best enologists in Italy, Attilio Pagli.
