TravelShield™ (a WESSCO International brand) and United Airlines announce the first branded, reusable face covering for airline frontline employees.
The stylish TravelShield masks are Oeko-Tex certified with a three-layer cotton design and with an average lifespan of each mask at approximately one month. Masks are available in two sizes and include cleaning and wear instructions.
Speaking of the new face coverings, United’s Chief Customer Officer Toby Enqvist said: “Wearing face coverings is one of the most impactful things we’re doing to take care of our customers as well as one another. With your safety as a top priority, we’re happy to be able to offer you a safe — and stylish — face covering option to wear as the face of United.”
The airline’s mask policy is an important part of the United CleanPlusSM program, which brings together one of the most trusted brands in surface disinfection – Clorox – and the country’s top medical experts – Cleveland Clinic – to inform and guide United’s new cleaning, safety and social distancing protocols.
