Judges Comments: This economy class kit is well thought out, the neatly designed bag made from recyclable paper is water resistant and reflects Air Astana’s eco spirit. Inside the kit there is no plastic packaging to be found and all items have been made from a new biodegradable material based on wheat straw. A great example of sustainable design and style.
Turkish Airlines – Elif – Awarded Gold
Judges Comments: Designed for Turkish Airlines this environmentally friendly film is certificated as 100 percent biodegradable and compostable. A good example of two companies Elif & Turkish Airlines coming together to solve a packaging and environmental issue.
JetBlue Mint / WESSCO International / Wanderfuel – Awarded Silver
Judges Comments: The outer envelope of this kit constructed from leather like washed paper has a strong and textured feel to it. Combined with a distinct design and clear branding it is a clever packaging initiative for an amenity kit.
