Sustainability continues to play a central role in how FORMIA grows, innovates, and creates value across the aviation industry. The publication of FORMIA’s Sustainability Report 2024–2025 highlights two years of progress against key environmental, social, and governance objectives, while setting new targets to guide the next phase of the company’s sustainability journey.

Building on the foundations established in its inaugural 2023 report, the latest edition demonstrates how sustainability is increasingly embedded across FORMIA’s operations, supply chain, and workplace culture.

One of the report’s key achievements is the increase in sustainable material usage across FORMIA’s product portfolio, rising from 43% in 2024 to 53% in 2025. This surpassed the company’s interim target of 50% and reflects ongoing efforts to reduce environmental impact while maintaining the high-quality standards expected by airline and brand partners worldwide.

The reporting period also saw significant investment in employee wellbeing and workplace excellence. FORMIA opened its new Hong Kong headquarters, designed to achieve both LEED Gold and WELL Gold standards. The new workspace supports environmental responsibility while prioritising employee health and wellbeing. Expanded wellbeing initiatives across the business also contributed to reduced absenteeism, reinforcing the connection between a positive workplace culture and long-term organisational performance.

Beyond its own operations, FORMIA continued to strengthen transparency and accountability throughout its supply chain. The company achieved 100% SMETA audit coverage across Tier 1 suppliers and submitted its Communication on Progress to the United Nations Global Compact. Together, these milestones demonstrate FORMIA’s commitment to responsible sourcing, ethical business practices, and alignment with internationally recognised sustainability principles.

The report period concluded with FORMIA achieving an EcoVadis Bronze rating in 2025. However, the company’s sustainability progress continued beyond the reporting window.

In March 2026, FORMIA was awarded EcoVadis Gold recognition, placing the company among the top 5% of organisations assessed globally by the leading business sustainability ratings provider. Within the non-specialised wholesale trade sector, FORMIA ranks among the top 2% of companies overall and within the top 1% for Labour & Human Rights performance. The assessment also recognised strong results across Environment, Sustainable Procurement, and Ethics.

The achievement reflects the continued integration of sustainability across FORMIA’s business and value chain, while recognising the collective efforts of employees, suppliers, customers, and partners.

Reflecting on the progress outlined in the report, Roland Grohmann, CEO & Managing Partner of FORMIA, commented:

“This report captures the progress we have made in integrating sustainability into the way we build and scale our business. We are proud of the advances achieved over the past two years, while remaining focused on the opportunities ahead. By working closely with our partners and continuing to evolve our approach, we are committed to driving positive, lasting change across our value chain.”

As the global leader in branded airline passenger amenity kits and comfort products, FORMIA has spent more than two decades creating innovative collaborations with leading airlines and consumer brands. Today, sustainability is helping shape the next chapter of that story.

From increasing the use of sustainable materials and strengthening supplier oversight to creating healthier workplaces and earning industry-leading recognition, FORMIA continues to demonstrate that responsible business practices and premium passenger experiences can go hand in hand.

With new sustainability targets now in place, the company remains focused on driving measurable impact across its operations, partnerships, and the wider aviation industry—ensuring sustainability remains a key driver of long-term value and positive change.
